One of my favorite products to pay for, up there with Canva
Its the one I've been using & im finding 4.5 useful rn wrt helping me organize writing & looking for sources; ots also good at taking me through a process. It also has my history, which i still need access to or add additional prompts to. Ive alao had it troubleshoot PC issues. I have access to grok & use it for different things. Google i dont like other than to search images (eg at a second hand store). At some point, I'll probably switch to one that i can keep on my PC only and/or an app that let's me pick across different models (depending on need)
AI is definitely very useful, I just didn't realize people were paying for advanced/premium accounts. I feel like I'm miss out 😂
I stopped paying for a while but started it up again when I was hitting limits. Grok is good for searching Twitter and explaining posts. If it makes me more productive, its a win (but today i lost time playing with pics lolol). For Chatgpt last week I was brainstorming a business idea. I also had it pqrce through botdeer Financials for how many MW they have in Bhutan. I would like to get into vibe coding too, soon, but need to research what tools!

I tried self hosted llama, GPT 4 All & Deepseek. The monthly ChatGPT paid account is the best LLM for the work that I do, at least for now.
To be fair, it's been a while I haven't tried the others, maybe things changed.
Running TEMU AI on local hardware is on the to-do list. ✅️

There's no alternative. Grok isn't up to chatgpts power and installing your own AI on your own desktop is difficult as you gotta use the Linux CLI.
I pay for it. Way worth paying for speed and volume. I use it for:
- Drafting legal docs pre-lawyer review
- Drafting professional letters
- Simple coding tasks: python, web, etc
- Compiling info from sites, soft scrapes
- Digging back up that quote from a book I read near instantly
- Editing and proofreading writing
- Quick calculations
- Quick encyclopedia stuff or research
- Cross referencing details from multiple URLs
- processing small datasets quickly
- advanced excel formula creation
And more.
That or they’re just copying all the images people are posting on X 😂

I have it through Kagi but I never use it because Claude is consistently better. I love having multiple pay tier models accessible.

Same. Besides the cost, this seems like a good opportunity to be sovereign. Turns out 12-14b models run pretty good with my setup. Working on my prompt skills while reading up on goose and mpc tonight 🤓
