Do I have to first disconnect get alby?
Or
Can I just copy the coinos info over the get alby information in Amethyst?
I tried copying over the information but was unable to send.π€

Hmmm... Not sure what you mean by my Lightening address???. I just want to zap in NOSTR....
...and don't want to pay Alby bc it doesn't make sense for the small amount of zapping I do.
This is what I did:
1. I set up coinos account.
2. I moved the sats from Get Alby account to coinos...using lightening....then I deleted my Get Alby account.
3. Tried to connect/integrate coinos with NOSTR by doing the following:
Had no idea where to find the menu item for setting up a wallet.....so I "long pressed" on the zap icon of a note.... then I pasted the coinos info (i.e., npub, nsec, and relay) over the existing information (which had the Alby information)....
This does not work π€
I cannot send zaps
And my profile still shows the deleted get alby account address.
Not sure what client your are using but in Damus you need to go to your profile and edit your lightning address there.
Profile > edit > Nostr lightning tips (or something like that wording)
Using amethyst.... I don't see that setting.

No need to remove Alby, just add CoinOs as your new wallet ( Alby Hub γDIY option ). I've been using it and works great and you can transfer all your Sat's from Alby to CoinOs and keep using the extension for zaps π»β‘π€

It gets even more meta when you connect CoinOS to your Alby account via NWC, so that when you receive sats to your Alby address they go to your CoinOS wallet.
But I deleted my get Alby account.... Do I have to create another Alby account to use Alby hub DIY?
Can I use coinos without Alby Hub?
You can use CoinOS on its own by logging in via the website.

No. Logging in to manage your wallet. Itβs web based so there is no app to download. As for using it with nostr, you can receive zaps by adding your CoinOS lightning address in your nostr profile. To use it for sending zaps, copy the NWC string from your CoinOS settings and paste it into the correct place in your nostr clientβs settings. I apologize I donβt have amethyst so I donβt know where the setting is.
Yeah Alby only shows my total Sats now and CoinOs linked to Nostr . When it's all working its magic π€©
So I did the diy option and nwc connect to coinos, but when I zap and my phone gives options of wallets, coinos doesnt pop up π€ zeus still does tho. What am i missing? π
You might need to update your extension settings in your browser
I have Alby for my CoinOs wallet and nos2x that stores my npub and nsec
CoinOs is a Web lightning wallet so won't appear in a list
I figured it out! π I was able to download a coinos app. And I connected coinos to Alby via nwc. I longpressed the zap button in amethyst and there is a wallet setup section. I clicked the Alby icon then it prompted me to open their link in amethyst 𫨠and voila, I have one tap zaps!!!!! Holy shit this is awesome
