Thank you, I appreciate the thoughtful post, and I wholeheartedly agree with you. However, in the numerous conversations that I've had with people who believe that the Earth is flat, it doesn't matter what kind of evidence you present. There's always a snapback to the undeniable claim that NASA is the root cause of essentially all evil in the world.

Let's take for example Flight LA809 from Santia Gochili to Sydney, Australia. It departs Santiago at 1.45 am. I think it's a weekly flight. This is a real flight, real people take this flight. You can track this flight in real time in flight tracking software, or you can even choose to take the flight yourself.

Now look at the flat earth map and wonder why it takes only 15 hours to go from Chile to Australia. If the earth really truly was flat as described by those maps, you would have to go over the Arctic.

But then again, I don't expect this to change your mind, since it's never changed the mind of anybody who believes the Earth is flat that ive spoken to.

I honestly haven't dug much into the flight-tracking arguments, even though both flat-earthers and globe-earthers point to certain flights as convincing to prove their side

To me, if I had to pick one single argument that was the most convincing to me personally, it's the STARS/PLANETS, and their paths in the sky

How do you explain in the heliocentric model, how every star traces perfect circles around the north star, and every PLANET traces perfect sacred geometrical patterns around the north star, from our POV on Earth?

The "parallax" response does not cut it for me - that sounds like insane cope as these constellations have remained perfectly consistent for 6,000+ years of recorded history

What is your rebuttal to this?
