#Ditto experiment finished, I deleted the VPS.
What did I learn.

It worked 99%, but the other 1% was:
It didn't resolve most npubs to names, nor did it retrieve profile images.
It also crashed once a day (overnight) and gave a 502 error (bad gateway), probably not a powerful enough server (probably RAM).
Will try again in a few weeks / months to observe progress. Love the idea and will hopefully run my own client permanently some day.

Worth a try and I’m going to have a play with it a little longer but whether I’ll keep it going, not sure. If it requires more resources that could get costly.
I had the missing images too but I thought it was because I was running it from a http tor hidden service domain.
