A whole bunch of wild dolphin came up all around me & a former gf while paddling a pretty good ways off the beach at Rodanthe NC. I remember thinking there were a lot more battle scars on wild dolphin than I expected. You see a lot of them around, I've even seen them playing in the surf, but seeing them super close was definitely a different experience. Whales seem like they might be a bit more nerve-racking tho 😅
