I caved but been spending much less time on it and more on nostr
GM my friend never had a twitter Nostr is my first social since MySpace yup I’m old as **it
I did good for two weeks then I caved because I felt the need to post some things to Twitter. I paid my fees though.
How much did the pot end up getting to? Imagine the donations died off after awhile
Still going strong! I’ll probably head over there another once or twice after March, to get my affairs in order. Then poof. 🫥
For me personally, I didn't miss the Bitcoin & Crapto part of Twitter so I probably won't really bother to try and continue advancing my account in those areas outside of Nostr but I'm a big sports & music fan (on top of a gazillion other random interests) so I definitely missed getting scoops in those other areas of interest. Maybe I'd head back in a lurking capacity.

Nostr is just a very very tiny community of hardcore fans.
The action is still on twitter. Many have opened an nostr account/created keypairs and then never looked back.
They are all active on twitter daily I bet.
For me, I am def back on twitter tmr 100 %. I missed the action and the drama.
I learned a lot about myself and the twitter-algo.
I made it, contemplating whether I will go back or not. How about you?🤙🏻
Same exact boat as you. I don't think I'll be going back in a Bitcoin capacity though. I prefer my echo chamber here on #Nostr.
For my other interests in life, I'll probably head back over there until the Nostr Ecosystem grows large enough to support my other interests.
I clicked a few times on links posted here but didn't drill down and haven't opened the app. I have missed the sports, politics and covid stuff but I'm not looking forward to having it back in my life - I know now that twitter really does suck but there is good info on there. Nostr still very early. Pretty confusing actually!
Not confusing at all. Totally get what you're feeling cuz I'm feeling the same way. Glad I did this though.
Should also add I'll probably end up utilizing Twitter again to continue to help promote and market #Nostr to new users
Not login in not even once is a win for me. But since we are in confession mode:
1. I hit a "screenshot" that redirected me (closed it before it loaded)
2. I clicked a link to get a discount for the Bitconf2023 😢
BUT still have not login there or spent time scrolling 😊

I caved a few times because I discovered Twetoshi and followed a few links out of nostr. I realised how little I enjoy it. I'm 98% nostr and not really missing Twitter now.

I never joined the March. It makes sense to have one optimal form of money, Bitcoin. It also makes sense to have a multitude of communications channels.
