In City AM in August 2023 I warned the Online Safety Bill would threaten encryption, empower unaccountable regulators and create the illusion of safety.

Now Labour claims it’s protecting children from harmful content.

In reality:

- Kids use VPNs

- Adults lose privacy

- Startups flee the UK

You’ve protected no one and compromised everyone.

Control. Control. Control. They can track and trace in the unvaxxed so why not the pedo’s… ffs

Two years ago, when I wrote about the dangers of the Online Safety Bill in City AM, I said:

“Perhaps a solution is to stop normalising giving addictive tech to children under 16 so we can allow their brains to mature before being exposed to the world wide web.”

Instead? We got mass surveillance disguised as child protection.

The more they push, the more obvious it becomes, they’re not in control, they’re losing it.
