Don't leave your kids in custodial homeschool if you have a way to avoid it.

Agreed. We home school our 5 kids.

Nice! We have 5 as well, we are in Ontario

Custodial homeschool? You mean government schools?

Includes private schools too.

Basically, non custodial home school to be all encompassing.

Fair, been non custodial the whole time.

Not you teach, not your kid

I’ve spent the last few days reimagining our son’s “schooling”.

Three tiers (for lack of better term).

30k foot Vision / Mission

10k foot Process / System which delivers on his Vision and Mission, in particular the 5 C’s which guide his day:

• Be Curious about the past, present, and future; exploring ideas to gain knowledge, wisdom, and discernment.

• Create value for myself, family, and community by honing skills in creativity, contribution, and commerce.

• Connect meaningfully with God’s image bearers to build relationships and foster stewardship.

• Cultivate life and resiliency to strengthen body, mind, and spirit for adventure and leadership.

Consume wisely to maintain balance and focus through my surroundings and inputs.

Then the final level is Ground Level where he takes action and plugs into the 5 C’s in a tangible way.
