I like both of them but I prefer to keep my node segregated from non-Bitcoin functions of which Umbrel has many that are quite useful.

I'm on Start9 but I hear good things about Umbrel also.
I have one setup as a lightning node and one I'm using as a NAS and other apps.
What app are you using in start9 as a NAS?
Nextcloud. I have it synced with my desktop and it works well and automatic.
Can a specidic drive be selected to store certain things? Like photos only in HDD, bitcoin stuff in another, etc
