The only downside I see (and it's a big one) is that you limit yourself in terms of pricing. That's one of the beautiful things about straight up #v4v - the sky is the limit.

I see your point, I mean from a business perspective you probably want both depending on the product, but the reliable income you depend on for overhead like payroll and rent I like the idea of having the single paywall. That's like maybe your main product, a weekly show or report, and then you can v4v clips, or something to that effect.

More important then the money imo:

You lose the clear signal for your content. Value4value is clear feedback, a free market for information valuation.
