He wants the lithium

Goddammit. I was gonna buy a Tesla, but now the street left is gonna get activated again to torch and vandalize those goddamned cars again.
If it wasn’t for these stupid tariffs we’d have BYD here, otherwise known as “Better Tesla.”
All I know is that I got stuck with a Hyundai Kona for a rental and it was a miserable experience trying to charge that little amount of ass. The Tesla cars just pulled in and out in 20 minute intervals, while I had to wait 1.25 hours for my golf cart to get another 200 miles on it.
They did get the charging network experience right. No other competitor is even close.
Apparently, if I'm willing to pay the premium for a 2024+ model of the Ioniq, I can buy a SuperCharger adapter and charge at a Tesla station. I just want to know which of these EV's is constructed well enough to stand the 300k+ miles the battery and mechanicals are rated for.
I don’t really drive enough to need anything with long range but the idea of running out of battery in the wrong place scares the hell out of me.
Having a gas station every few dozen miles on an American road trip kicks ass. I can't imagine the anxiety an EV driver has in the middle of Iowa on I-80 in a snowstorm or peak summer.
It is not about oil or lithium dumb ass. It is about banks..... Just like Lybia, Iran, Afganistan, soon to be Alberta
