Been missing Nostr lately. Stuck out in fiatnam working/cleaning up a single family rental.
It’s not glamorous work whatsoever but let me tell you, it is eye opening.
You can tell how people’s lives are trending based on how they move out of a home they don’t own. Their overall fiat lifestyle speaks volumes based on what they leave behind.
Important work is hardly ever glamorous.
Glamorous work is often irrelevant and soul-crushing.
I think your work is very important and the fact you use it as input for deeper reflections quite impressive.

Thanks you kindly. I agree with you as well. We live in a digital world more and more but can’t forget the physical things and work that make us human and makes the world turn. Finding the bridge between the two and reflection is important. 🙏🏻
I’ve seen very similar situations. Chip bags all over the house. Grime and dirt in every corner. Destroyed doors and shades. Carpet looks like fleas made it, etc. Good luck!
Get it back up and rented. Won’t last forever.
This is it exactly. A dumpster worth of garbage and just general disregard/respect. Part of the game for sure.
Amazes me how some people can be so dirty.

Oh man, this time round…. A dumpsters worth of trash, multiple couches, 25 empty pizza boxes (killed 11 mice so far cause of it) old mattresses, probably 10 pairs of usable shoes, closet of clothes, 2 dressers, computer monitor, kids bicycle…. Just to name a few. People will never cease to amaze you.
The worst part is when they leave lots of canned food. Try and donate that.
