If it is , I have no doubt that they probably have trashed it like they have done with everything else , it's probably all PC jokes and stuff.
Remember in the Beano they were always beating up the nerdy poofter whats his name , Walter , he was always playing with his dollies and shit , they probably stopped that I would say .

I grew up in The Netherlands, but back in the 80’s we did receive BBC and Sky. That’s where I must’ve seen Bananaman.
You seen him on television ! Right , well he's a character from a series of childrens comics called "The Dandy" , you could get it at the newsagent every sunday , or if you signed up for the " Beano club" or the "Dandy club " , then you got it sent though the post.
It's a shame there isn't anything like that really these days , it was a nice little ritual .
