It would be cool to have categories on Nostr, like Artist, Designer, Writer… and when I click on Artist for example I see the list of people under the category.

Yes a discovery feature on the search icons on the apps. Look at bluesky for reference as they are having massive success there…
I feel like content-focused relays would be a cool way to do this, but to my knowledge most clients don’t expose and easy way to move between relays
