This highly depends on your personality structure. If you’re a highly agreeable person this might work but for less agreeable people high in openness (aka. most Bitcoiners) this would do the exact opposite as might trigger reactance.

Maybe. I just think to not share objectives is almost as good as not having them unless you can be ruthlessly honest with yourself; which is possible short term and hard over a lifetime

This is true if you organize the world around you primarily in social terms. Not everyone does that though.
