My personal account’s (this account’s) default view is set on the Latest.

However, our company account that follows less of other accounts is set by default on Trending. Dunno whether it has to do with the number of people you follow or whether it is adjustable. Would be curious to know. Please share the answer once you found it.

Try #Amethyst Joe. I think they all have their quirks though. In #Amethyst there is a feature, Hidden Words. Write in which words you don't want to see and you don't see them!

You’re on to something with the mutes. I often change my mute words for a new experience.

have you tried using a real Nostr client instead?

on the desktop version of Primal you have the option to display 'most zapped' or 'trending'

On my Pc NoStrudel is my daily driver. On Android I use Amethyst. I don't have an Iphone but I guess I would use Damus.

Not enough functionalities with Primal and they don't support amber on android

Why not simply use #Amethyst or #Damus 🤷🏻‍♀️

1) YOU CAN CHANGE THE FEED ORDER ON PRIMAL. EVEN DELETE TRENDING ALTOGETHER.

2) NEXT PRIMAL UPDATE WILL GIVE YOU EVEN MORE CONTROL INCLUDING A FEED MARKETPLACE WHERE YOU CAN EASILY ADD CUSTOM FEEDS.

3) THERE ARE MANY GREAT CLIENTS BESIDES PRIMAL.

4) BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD.

Try another client. One that doesn't still note... to ID events, without a rigged trending algo and one that gives you access to more than just short messages.

Mine defaults to "latest with replies" which is my least favourite view because all I see is the replies and not the original post. I prefer "latest" on primal. That being said I tend to use amethyst more lately

In the web app you can configure your feeds in the settings

if you don't like the algorithm, you can use different clients. that's (one of) the Magic of nostr :)
