Yes, I use a recipe from perfectloaf.com we skip the yogurt and do about half the sugar maybe less, we're not big sugar eaters. They're so good. It's the only thing other than steak juice the dog has gotten off the counter 🤷‍♀️.

My starter is a boring one with plain flour, but it is 4 years old now. It is pretty tangy.

you can change the flavor of your starter by changing the balance of lactic vs acetic acid.

The Sourdough School book by Vanessa Kimbell is so good about explaining the ins and outs of this. Probably the only thing I miss from Instagram is following her.
