That’s literally what it’s like. It’s all peaceful and calm near us. We didn’t even know until we checked the news like everybody else
I remember living in DC and my mom would follow the DC area news. She heard there was a shooting and worried about me. The shooting was one person on the opposite side of the city while I was asleep. It’s hard for news to capture the full context of what’s happening.
