“America is really the only place that Bitcoin has a true chance of success and it's because of the powerful constitutional protections that we have and the ability of the sovereignty of individual states to counteract a rogue federal government. And using those powers to balance against one another, we feel like there's a very powerful apparatus to be able to resist state overreach.” - nostr:npub1hk0tv47ztd8kekngsuwwycje68umccjzqjr7xgjfqkm8ffcs53dqvv20pf

Are Americans really this delusional?

Or does this play to patriotic strings to increase reach or influence?

If the below is true....sell it all now....Bitcoin is dead if it can only succeed in America.

¯_(ツ)_/¯

Read this at the exact moment I heard it while scrolling and listening to the episode. Twas freaky

Bitcoin has achieved global success. It is for everyone, and it will succeed everywhere

The strength of Bitcoin is that it is global, promotes exchange and supports peace and hope. De-Hollywood your thinking

After listening. I want to work on Vora. Many relevant skills.

This was an excellent episode. Articulated exactly what a lot of bitcoiners feel in self custody - stuck between a probability assessment between a wrench vs a regulatory attack. Can’t wait to see vora v1z

France, Russia, China, Germany, Argentina, Turkey…the list goes on all tore up their constitutions . History tells us governments won’t tolerate competition in money. The Constitution doesn’t enforce itself. If Bitcoin ever truly threatens the monetary system, no parchment will save it. The only real protection is decentralisation and the people willing to resist….not legal theory.
