Meditations was that for me. In my work bag never leave home without it.

Ordered both! Excited to read them 💜

Love it! It’s not too long and each successive chapter gets better and better. What I wouldn’t give to read it again for the first time. Enjoy!

Does it matter which copy/translation or are they all mostly the same?

Great question! So there are multiple and this one is my favorite:

Meditations (Penguin Classics) https://a.co/d/cOpxHAS

A lot of them kind of have old English translations like “thou art strong” type thing.

The one I sent is blunt and badass, it just hits different imo!

I love recommendations for good reads. Thanks much 🙏

It’s also like 9 bucks so pretty cheap. If you bought one already no biggie but still love the Penguin Classics version for sure

Awesome, I’m gonna be getting that one 🐧 🛒 Thanks so much for the reccos man ⚡️

Take the most recent translations. Older translations use older language and, therefore, sound a little bit superficial now.

Meditations is amazing

Classic no doubt

I haven't read this one... It looks like something I'll enjoy 😊

Thank you for the recommendation 🙌⚡️💜🧡

Still think it’s a good guide to the pura Vida?

Yes! 🙌

excellent book.

Thanks for the recommendation. I downloaded a sample and am planning on buying it. I think this is just what I have been looking for.

Awesome! It’s a great introduction and super actionable
