I don’t trust Telegram. The other day it accessed my camera and microphone for no particular reason while running in the background on my IPhone. I have revoked its access and I’m considering taking it off my phone altogether. I use it for a small group of friends who like to send voice messages as apposed to text. If Nostr could do the voice messaging they’d migrate over. People get stuck in their ways and don’t like change unfortunately.
https://www.0xchat.com has voice messages functionality, but to be fair, Nostr apps in general do need more time to become as good as traditional apps.
All we gotta do is use them, give feedback and preferably support the devs.
I’ll check it out. I’m assuming it uses the Nostr messaging functionality, kind of like a more polished Nostr messages packaged in a dedicated messaging app form? I’ll have to read into it. Thanks for showing me 🙂
Exactly. Plus it wraps messages to achieve better privacy, not available in a number of general (older) Nostr clients.
