Good morning nostr, and happy Friday. Today we have guests checking in at our bnb cabin, so i'll be doing a little prep for that. And i have extra eggs lately, so i decided to sell some at the cabin, with just a little sign that tells guests they are for sale. Also, yesterday i received my order of fodder trees from Nick Ferguson at Rare Plant Store, and i'm excited to open up the box. He sells bare root trees that are great for feeding livestock. A good way to reduce your animal feed bill. I think mine are white mulberry, hybrid willow, lacebark elm. See his website for info.

Our fodder trees are shipping next week.
We actually got some last year as well but couldn't resist the elms in this year's package. (we'll use some as shade trees and others for fodder). Our trees from last year are doing great and just to test coppicing, I cut one of the hybrid willows down to the ground and it looks like it's resprouting beautifully.
Wow, thanks for sharing your experience with yours. This is my first order, and i'm looking forward to trying it out,plus i might share a few with my friend that supplies me with chickens when i need some.
