Far better option use Monero for spending, and Bitcoin on chain for saving and with this regulatory environment even more
Have you tried opening your own channels by running a node?

yes i installed umbrel 1.5 years ago.
that is how i lost all of the funds even though i had the mnemonics.

I me it works for me....but if it doesn't work for all humans then it's a niche
Any feature of monero can be incorporated into bitcoin, it just so happens that the necessary trade-offs are simply not worth it, and you cannot explain this simple fact to monero shitcoiners.
