This week I went self hosted for the first time. I've made onchain transactions, used non custodial lightning wallets and used hardware wallets before - thinking I'm going soverign. But never run anything from my own server. And it's been a helluva learning curve so far.

Today I plan to route Nostr zaps through Alby. I'm not concerned by the recent password change email, especially because of how they owned the mistake.
Any tips/advice would go along way for this novice.

Its been a smooth experience so far. I thought I funded the wrong Lightning channel --> thought i opened an Alby native channel rather than my own, although running thunder hub verified that I did infact fund the one running through my node.
