My 2 cents (not that anyone asked) 😎

I have nieces and nephews who are on nostr and I agree that I don't neceasarily want them seeing nude pics but I also realise a few things:

1) young kids would scroll past. Curious kids would stop and look, but isnt that an opportunity to guide that curiosity??

2) seems a little 'double standards' to hold nostr to chikd friendliness when for years there was more vulgar child porn on twitter and the complaints fell on deaf ears. When musk took over child porn was gone in like a week.

3) the truth is we are all early on this protocol. And just as there is a YT kids its true there may be a NOSTR kids in the future.

4) there is a whole bunch of really nasty shit on the interwebs. Stuff that disrespects women, portrays bad social values and lots more. Onyx's stuff is isn't harming anyone. If she was harming anyone arguably it would only bw herself.

5) we need to teach kids about sex, nudity and all things 'sensitive' in an open healthly way. We dress things up in a secretive way and hide sex as something bad. It's how kids were created ffs!! I equate censhorship (not suggesting you are advocating for it) to not teaching a kid to use a knife cos your worried they will cut themselves. Seems the wrong approach to me.

6) worried parents can also configure home networks with better filtering. This is something almost unheard of in schools and parent discussions.
