apparently my wife’s credit card got compromised the other day.

I logged into our account to make a payment and we had $8,500 in

Air France charges.

Spent the last few hours filing a police report and disputing charges🤦🏻‍♂️

scammers just keep scamming, fkers!

Two years ago I had the same thing happen. 4500$ Air France. Bank gave me back the money same day. Never knew what came of it.

Well, no. Air France didn’t give back the money. My bank did, and then their fraud department went after the money.

Yes. That annoying policy at most stores is usually instituted to prevent being involved in fraud. Assholes ruin it for everyone else.

Makes the scammer harder to trace. They usually use a mule/courier to return the item too, so they don’t appear on camera.
