Why?

Idk just didn’t expect cashapp to be good

C'mon, it was made by Satoshi. You should expect nothing less 😄

Hwhat you’re joking

Why? Genuinely curious.

Figured they would be doing something to make money from it

Not mutually exclusive.

I mean at our expense

They all charge fees or have a small spread, including Cashapp, but I’ve found Cashapp and Strike to be the most reliable with the lowest fees overall, including fees for purchase and withdrawal. If you direct deposit your checks into cashapp you can also auto-convert up to 100% of it directly to bitcoin with zero fees.

Ok well I signed up for strike so I’ll check it out

Awesome. Strike has a couple of features that Cashapp doesn’t that I like. One is the ability to pay a Lightning or on chain invoice directly from your USD balance. The other is that Strike gives you a Lightning address for receiving.

Woah sending from usd balance is cool. I’ve seen the opposite but that’s pretty unique

💯 It’s probably my favorite feature

My account is ready, I’ll try it out next time I buy

Better than Fold?

I haven’t used Fold for a while so I’m not sure on fees how they compare, or really even features. Has Fold gotten better? I tried them for a year a while back and the debit card sucked and then rewards got worse and worse and it wasn’t worth the yearly fee for me.

I like it. Makes it easy to have all inclusive payments processor. Only thing I don't like. They don't accept ⚡. On chain only.

Yea that sucks. Is there still a yearly fee? The rewards were cool but with my usage the cost of the rewards didn’t offset the annual fee, so it was better for me to just buy sats with that money and use Cashapp.

Also consider who the founder/CEO is and that should tell you a lot about their commitment to making good Bitcoin services/products.

Popular mainstream normie platform bias, for me anyway. I also assume platforms that large are gross with KYC. Choose your KYC platform evil I suppose.

Right but he was asking about coming from Coinbase, so I assumed in this KYC isn’t an issue.

Oh yeah good point.

Strike makes sense though
