ecash needs lightning - not the other way around. it is hugely complimentary tho. but its an interesting open question weather it will find a fit within the market. which is basically a question of “do you give a fuck about privacy?”
most people have already answered that question. but hopefully many change their mind
I optimize for not being rugged over privacy. benefits of running your own node is that you get both.

Wow! Why? For small amounts, I would much rather optimize for privacy. My privacy is worth more than small amounts.
