Honestly given how beta mode this place is I think it is okay that it is small. Let people discover it in six months when this thing can basically be the entire web 2.0 in one cryptographic login and web 2.0 has committed ai induced seppukku and fully imploded.

Really like your comment. Nostr is going to grow dramatically, but in bursts. When people are jolted awake becuase they have been banned, blocked or otherwise cancelled.
The powers that be cannot help themselves. They have gained enormous power from tech and are not going to suddenly stop excercising it.
Nostr makes want to be a contributor. It will attract better plebs.
I find the project fascinating. The idea of multiple relays, clients, etc. is incredibly compelling.
If you have not yet, and want to be truly fascenated, try the desktop clients Gossip and more-speech. It's not just a twitter timeline, but actual power in the hands of the people. Control the relays you use, control what you read from, what you write to, who you trust vs. who you watch (my vernacular for 'follow') and the ability verify and even modify the source code for yourself. In another six months these tools will be mind blowing.... not that they are not already. I am more exicted about nostr than I was with the internet in about 1990.
