It's great that more "influencers" and people are joining nostr. The protocol needs more people.
Please don't let it change you. The great thing about nostr is how many felt free to be themselves here. There were a lot of different individuals.

Nostr is gonna take influencers to a whole new level… it is gonna be wild when individual creators have true self sovereignty and are not puppets. This is going to shift the economy in a whole new direction. Watch out.
I think we can get there if we retain our voices. People still have legacy follow the influencer syndrome
people still shop at walmart because its cheap, and have facebook accounts too.
we support the systems that undermine us because we don’t understand how to actively support sovereignty with our daily choices.
The power struggle of convenience and freedom
There’s many that come here for the freedom and expect the large following insta influencer title just because it’s new/different. Also many that take it personal when there’s minimal engagement on their notes.
Hopefully people remain bold, themselves, true… and don’t fold to the pressures of trying to be someone else just to gain followers en masse. There’s something about the number that is so important to many. It seems.
