If we do this in Australia we are still obliged to register with the government and follow their curriculum. Is it like that where you are?

In our state we have to only let them know we’re homeschooling our child. So it’s a notification only, no other requirement. It’s one reason we moved here. Overall in the US we recommend becoming members of HSLDA. Probably the best peace of mind for any legal “troubles” https://hslda.org/ NFA
