Pretty wild to just not see some DMs on some clients and to have everything work on others.

Yea all my DMās disappeared from Primal but are present on YakiHonne.
Issue is too many people still use Primal (for DMs) which are not secure (NIP-44 I think it is, gift wrapped)
So itās frustrating Iāve lost some coms with people
I found that sometimes gift wrapping the dms would make them not show up in other apps not sure exactly why. Think because the meta data was so well hidden was my best guess š¤· not exactly sure tho.
What Iāve experienced is giftwrapped convos only process in a client (and of course relays) that support them.
So if someone DMs from from Primal for example, who doesnāt gift wrap, then I donāt see replies for that contact in YakiHonne or 0xChat
Mine seems to be the reversed I only see the convos across all apps if they are not gift-wrapped. I have tested this with ox chat and amythys and both support gift-wrap msg. I'm sure once that become the standard format we won't see the issue of dms
