What if money was no object?
Discussion
But a concept?
I see what you did there
It would be #Bitcoin
Iād buy 150 acres in western Montana, start a ranch to feed me and my friends / family, Iād build the rest of the property into a massive park (ponds, pools, stonework, gardens) and Iād also build a huge barn house with a big open bay gym and a couple shops.
Iād spend my days curating everything meticulously, building, sculpting stone, Iād adopt a bunch of dogs and unwanted farm animals, and Iād probably rarely leave minus the occasional international trip.
Iām going to do this. But I have to stack for a while longer to actualize.
time is the true money and truly scarce
Alan... š
Money is needed when emotions or feelings are not enough to justify some actions or work..
Not sure what I have just said, but I do believe has a sense.
What if money did not exist? Itās a modern mental construct! Opt out!
Sounds like a rate limit issue
Money is a social construct invented by murderer rapist pedos.
Would it be a person then?
It would be 'functional' money then, does not sound to bad ;-)
A pivot away from materialism would occur
If you mean materialism in the form of having food and shelter, then yes. Limited money is necessary for price signals and division of labor. Without it everyone would be hunter/gatherers again.
Then it would probably be a string literal
Spend half my time learning, and the other half teaching š
Deep
ā¦then youād think something else limited you
The ultimate answer we should strive for imo is that Iād mostly be doing the same thing. Maybe weād travel more or whatever, but the big things like family wouldnāt change much. Money is a big factor, but itās not the only factor and often other things like fear or self sabotage are more so whatās really holding us back.
