Unit bias is real. Even though 0.00001 BTC and 1000 sats are exactly the same thing, people will massively prefer the sound of the latter.

I think this is specially true when the value of a full Bitcoin is so high.

“I own 1000 of the smallest portions of a whole #Bitcoin” sounds somehow better than “I own 0.00001 #BTC”.

And what’s more interesting is, this bias loses meaning when the whole coin is worth almost nothing.
