I don't know if it's sad (state of the world) or hopeful (potential future of our world) but I can make a post here that simpky says "ZAAAAAERRRPPP" and make one day's worth of a very poor nation's minimum wage.

Connecting the world can have weird and unexpected but beautiful consequences. I hope we'll actually achieve it.

I blame the IMF (for the very poor nation’s wage, not the zaps)

and then the people try their zaps on a guy named jack

The feeling of guilt is unwarranted

It's not primary the content of your note that gets zapped, it's in your case the person behind the note that is getting zapped ⚡

Nostriches value what you did for them and therefore, what ever you post is getting zapped.

If a nobody would post just the word "Zaaaaaap", chances are low to attract zaps, simply because no value is received, nor is there any reach of the note to attract potential zaps.

So don't be sad, the value4value market is working as expected 🤙 "Zip Zap Next Note"

It is not an easy task. Here in my country the poorest people can barely read, and most don't have writing skills at all. Just imagine trying to onboard them on Nostr. A lot of previous basic education is needed.

Never thought of it like that. But I guess the optimistic thing is that Nostr significantly lowers the barrier to entry for people in 3rd world nations. Especially when combined with ubiquitous satellite-based internet
