Shameful
this has been known and talked about. i know bernie isnāt the most popular, but itās undeniable how the DNC fucked up his campaign knowing he wouldāve been the nominee in 2016 & 2020.
The difference as it appears right now: bearnie talked a big game but then folds to the DNC and gives them his support.
Itās like his role is mearly to get the dissatisfied left consoladated and then deliver a percentage of them back in to the DNC voter base.
RJK jr sounds different, but time will tell.
one is a sitting Senator, the other is not
i really think he gave in because he knew he had no choice. he knew if he acted out and called them out, it would just give further ammo to the DNC. even simply showing his distaste at bidenās inauguration, made democrats turn chastise him for being a ābad sportā
I just hope nothing happens to RJK jr, itās risky, although very brave, business directly saying what we all knew out loud like that. The corruption runs deep, and sadly they will make sure itās silenced.
Bernie is just far too pragmatic. He legitimately still thinks the DNC is far better than the RNC and in both elections thought potentially splitting the vote would lead to and instant Trump win (which wouldāve been true), but he was willing to sacrifice first principles in order to prevent that outcome.
i truly believe he doesnāt believe in the DNC in the slightest, he just know he has to. Not the biggest lie a senator has said. Both the RNC & DNC are absolutely corrupted past point of return. We are in need of reform, but nothing can happen when the voice of citizens are silenced and forced to comply with whatever the parties conjure up.
I think youāre right. It makes me really sad that so many people with seemingly good intentions arenāt able to make the change that they want to see in society because of the way our government is structured.
I firmly believe that more people are going to see economics (and specifically Bitcoin) as the final tool needed to legitimately improve the lives of others around them and reform the structure of broader society. It just sucks watching all the pain and failure that has to be endured by those who donāt see that yet.

The past two primaries have been objectively rigged. The 2016 primary was the first time I realized āsomethingās not right here.ā I was a Freshman in high school following politics for the first time. Not a single vote had been cast and Clinton had like 530 āsuperdelegatesā to Sanders zero.
The general election is a obfuscated shit show where you have to choose between the lesser of two evils, while the primaries are generally rigged by the parties or at a minimum influenced by whoeverās campaign has the best funding.
Our leaders are not chosen legitimately and do not represent the interests of the general population.
first off, hey zach, we seem to be near the same age. you perfectly described the experience i had at 15 seeing this all unravel. We were powerless. It truly changed the way i viewed American politics from that time on.
I was a big Bernie supporter at the time and was so upset. Heās the senator from my home state and I thought that all the problems we have in society could be solved if we just had a leader willing to address them.
My friends would make fun of me, but all I wanted to do or talk about was how it wasnāt right the way the system was structured. Iād go on long rants at the lunch table, argue with teachers, and watch political channels like āSecular Talk.ā
I wish someone couldāve handed me a copy of the Bitcoin standard back then, but it took me 5 years of searching to finally find something which had a legitimate chance of solving these problems.
we wouldāve been good friends, it was awful being so incredibly hyper aware of the important issues in our country and world, whilst having to deal with our age and the expectations of being ignorant and focusing on the childish things. me and two friends skipped school to see bernie speak in st. louis that year, it was probably the last time i felt like we the people had any power over our government and elections.
Iām also with you on the fact of not learning about bitcoin until years later, but try and not beat myself up for it as we were teenagers, we found bitcoin when we could. Thank you for putting into words how that time felt, itās hard to describe those years to people when the moment you mention how old you were, they disregard you.
I wouldāve loved the lunchroom discussions š«
And I donāt beat myself up too hard. The only thing I regret is not having been able to make a more positive impact on my community sooner. Obviously, if I had somehow stumbled across Bitcoin in 2016, I couldāve made a lot more change at the time than I was really able to.
Hereās a funny Facebook status post from my mom in January 2009 though - sometimes I feel like this was destiny.
Pretty sure DNC played dirty to wreck Tulsi Gabbardās campaign too
Democracy been destroyed for quite awhile imo. Arguably the beginning of the end was the formation of the US Federal Reserve bank in 1913.
Iāve really been enjoying the links you are posting Jack.
recently been trying the raw eggs and banna smoothie I learned about when you meantioned Darko.
Anyone have a line on celtic sea salt though?

Holy shit, has the world gone utterly mad ⦠mental
DNC is changing rules to dilute votes, RNC is violently storming the capitol to overturn votes
None of these ghouls believe in democracy š¤
Red Team, Blue Team, etc⦠Neither are on Team Humanity. The current system is beyond saving (and arguably not worth saving).

left wing and ring wing.. Of the Same bird, stay focussed on real change
Actually itās worse. They want to enable a pure democracy and dismantle our constitutional republicā¦. Thatās what brought down Ancient Rome.
This is nothing new, DNC never was a popular vote party. Super delegates are party insiders.
We need a different general election process to break 2 party rule. Run off elimination or ranked choice voting.
This election meddling is also a problem. I think it comes from live media vote count updates. Powers can't meddle if they don't know how many votes they need to fabricate for the win.
What's nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m's take on UBI?
Still looks like it's down to Biden and Trump all over again...
Negativity is mind control
RFK has been under fire for running as a Democrat, but to run as an Independent is an insurmountable hurdle to getting footing in the modern, tightly controlled electoral system.
The Green Party, for instance, has spent decades gaining ground, but has found itself compromised and undermined in the process.
In the modern American Electoral system you cannot run as a new Party unless you can integrate and compete for a decade or moreā¦by which time the 2-Party System subjugates your party, mis-representing it, as has happened with Bernie Sanders in past years, and with Cornell West now.
The Political Machine in America is corporate, bureaucratic and fundamentally opposed to any Third Party.
Rasmussen: Biden and Trump dead heat. Americans keen for third party candidate.
Well, that's certainly screwed up. Then again, with all the gerrymandering the Republicans are doing, they're also destroying democracy and disenfranchising citizens. Both parties have become corrupt and no longer serve the American people.
The whole thing is nothing but a puppet show to distract the public from what's going on behind the curtain.
LOL done along time ago. Vote harder.
They did that most recently in 2016. But they were flogging a dead horse: the USA has been a Judeoligaechy for decades.
