What about the option of purchasing a percentage-share of a miner that you’re running?
Mining Syndicate offers this (see their “split shares), but they’re a “crypto mining company” and most of us would rather work with a Bitcoin-only provider.
This could provide an “intro to mining” for people who either want to dip a toe in, or don’t have the capital to purchase a miner from the outset.

I'd love it if you could also serve as a custodian for my self-directed ROTH IRA because the company I use is borderline raping me with their fees and the whole process of having to loop my contributions through them via wire transfer is annoying, cumbersome, and slow.
