In the spirit of understanding i am going to start asking yall for your truth and definitions
So in your own words.

Friendship is when you want to spend time with someone you care about.
Someone who may or may not be an enemy at a different point in time.
So a friend is someone who more or less aligns with you at that specific moment.
((I would say this excludes true (best) friendship, which is based on decades of sustain. Even if your views don't align mostly, you can still get along thanks to a solid foundation and memories. I'm happy I'm blessed with a few of those))
That said, the weaker minded a friend is, or the more desperate his situation is, the easier he would turn on you.
Thats intresting purely so i understand what you are saying
Do you distrust your friends ?
I do not distrust those that I consider as my friends, no.
I'm just saying, as became apparent during times of covid for example, how effective the narrative was and how easily it destroyed many friendships and relationships. I'll give you this example, a mother/son relationship is stronger than regular friendship right, at least on the mother's side lol. And yet a buddy of mine was shunned by his own mother because he refused to get vaxxed. Wasn't allowed to enter her house anymore. If even a mother rejects her own child, a standard friend is definitely capable of rejecting your friendship. That's also why I brought up the weak minded part, if you don't have a proper grasp on reality, your value as a friend is highly situational and fleeting.
I see fair enough relationships are as fragile as they are strong
Someone who is looking to separate money and state.
A friend is:
Someone who you can reach out to at a time of distress and they'll be on their way to help you out.
Someone who was with you when you were at your lowest point.
Someone who knows your flaws, yet respects you for the person you truly are.

NOT a list of 500 FB 'friends'

NOT something to accumulate
a very short curated list of quality people i have intimate and direct contact with IRL
Caring and trusting enough someone to spend time with them. Being happy to see them
To me, a real friend will be honest, even if it would mean the end of the friendship.
There's a difference between friends mates and acquaintances and there's different kinds of friendship too. Deep question. Not sure I've got the mental capacity to explore more deeply atm.
My oldest friend I've known for 28 years now. I've got mates I grew up with who I've known considerably longer, but they're not part of my day to day life. But there's maybe three people outside of family who, if something were to happen to them it'd have a significant impact on my day to day life.
No need to be deep to be you.
I fully understand what you mean i think most of us whould say we can count our close friends on 1 hand
someone with whom you feel comfortable being yourself, giving you space for necessary transformations.
Someone whom you can be your total authentic self with.
Not having to filter certain parts of urself nor ur life.
Someone whom listens and supports you no matter what you’ve been or are going through.
Someone who’s always got your back.
Someone who doesn’t cause unnecessary high school drama and negative gossip.
Someone you can genuinely hang out with - without words and be able to just enjoy each others energy, connection, and vibes in any situation- in silence or talking.
Someone who isn’t afraid to speak up whether you like their opinions, or not.
Someone who makes time for you in their schedule no matter how hectic life can get.
Reliable, caring , and puts in effort.
My expectations are high 🤣🥲
Seems like you want what you give, i dont think thats a lot to ask
Trust. The rest follows. You cannot have true friendship without trust
Someone who you have a reciprocal relationship with where both parties feel it's their turn to give value.
