Follower counts are fake anyways mostly bots and dead npubs. Especially if you are using primal or Nostr.Band. npub.world gives more accurate numbers.

FWIW, I used to follow you. You brought mostly political posts and complaining to my feed, so I stopped. Try being funny sometimes. Grumpy complaining about politics isn't interesting.
I don't think I would add much, by just posting the same stuff everyone else does. Other people are much better, at being funny and silly, all day.
But there aren't many people adept at being not-funny, all day. That requires much more effort and knowledge.
I think being not funny all day describes most people actually, it's the default 😂 Humour is a skill most people don't have. That's why it is highly valued in social situations, dating, etc. Any good group of friends I have had long term, online or IRL have humour and playful banter at the core, not serious discussion all the time.
Interesting, that you think I'm serious all of the time, really. I'm actually known for my sardonic, impromptu wit, but maybe it's too dry and dark for you. Humor is ubiquitous, but highly assortative.
Well, that is fine. My particular complaint is not that people who find me off-putting don't see me, but that it's so difficult for me to reach new people who might enjoy my writing.
Interestingly, the comment you're replying to was regarding the world in general, but you made it all about yourself. Nevermind my advice then, and continue on as you are, even though by your own admission in the OP it's not getting the results you are looking for.

Most people think of themselves as humorous, but humor doesn't translate well between different demographics, so most people think most other people aren't humorous, but that their friends are very humorous.
In other words:
You think I am not funny, but that you are funny.
I think the exact opposite.
And we are both correct.
Because math.
I do agree with you, that your brand of humor is considered funny by a broader swathe of the general population, than mine is. But mine is heavily-overrepresented online, so that shouldn't necessarily be what is holding me back.
And now, it is your turn to respond that I didn't need to write an essay and ain't nobody got time to read all that and what math am I referring to, and etc.
