No, but namecheap accepts on-chain bitcoin. If you pay for 10 years, it's worth the fees.
Thanks, familiar with them. Need to pay for 1 year only
none that I could find last year. There's namecheap who runs their own btcpayserver. The rest accept "crypto" through some intermediary that immediately converts to cash for them.
can confirm, you can pay on chain bitcoin for namecheap, i don't remember that it had LN enabled tho... my previous romanian VPS provider had btcpayserver also but they had LN
only way for these shithead providers to accept LN will be for fees to stay consistently very high
it's pretty lame... i really wish my bank let me zap in, that would be really helpful... but i can kinda understand... outbound liquidity is easier to do, inbound ... well, isn't there a field in an invoice to add an identifier so one inbound channel can serve multiple customers?
i mean, i am glad i finally have a bitcoin banker that isn't a shady cunt like wirex, but i don't understand why they don't have inbound (xapo bank i mean)
interesting
I think Xapo Bank will add inbound but using UMA protocol maybe? https://uma.xapo.com
ooh this is new
funny, it's just like an LN address haha
it's not been rolled out on the app yet
but hopefully it will include LN, that would be so super!
Yes, not rolled out yet. But I think soon will be.
Yes but with KYC, haha. But they are a regulated bank, so they need to implement these features.
yeah, kyc... regular banking crap... they are not quite compelled as much as ones in other jurisdictions though, they are in gibraltar, so EU is only loosely enforced and UK also... it's a tax haven, after all, little city sized rock on the edge of the mediterranean... most likely they have a mailbox there and that's it for physical
sorry for "half-answering" your question but Njalla accepts on-chain tx for domains, servers, vpn, etc. Founded by Peter Sunde, the founder of The Pirate Bay. It does not yet have lightning support yet though.
Heard of it, yes. Terrible reviews as a domain registrar, not sure how reliable that is because we can't weboftrust it!
Lots of these accept on-chain, I really mean Lightning. Ecash is fine too
Where do you read these reviews? I've used it for many years by now and never had any problems with it. I'd be surprised if you find anyone that accepts ecash atm.
