Just got a spam call and it was an Ai. Took a second to catch it, but it had the characteristic awkward emphasis and minor audio artifacts... but it was also good enough to be convincing to some. I'd be curious how many people get caught by it. 🤔

Hay que encontrar una solución a las compañÃas telefónicas para que no cualquiera pueda acceder a tu número
Oof, just wait until it’s indistinguishable! The only safe practice is what I’ve been coincidently practicing for years: just aggressively ignore all incoming calls 🤣
I already know someone that was fooled by one.
Who answers phone calls anymore?
My grandpa called me last month.
He told me it was me on the other end and that I got in a car accident, in jail, and needed $9000 for bail. He said it was pretty convincing and sounded just like me.
Wild out there. Keep the family safe as well.
This is mainly about AI art, but it applies to AI audio, too.

we need a Nostr solution so you know the caller has digitally signed the message before you pick up 😂
