How do you handle the downtime between travel? I assume you are running on a dedicated machine?
Yeah. Down time just sucks; for this flight from Vietnam to London I temporarily moved my nostr relay to a vps.
My LN keys won’t touch hardware I don’t control

you mean what hardware? I use a BMAX B3 PLUS which is a pretty awesome machine imo
Interesting, I’m not a smart person but is this like a more powerful raspberry pi? Meaning can someone like me install raspiblitz or umbre etc. on one?

I don’t run a node package in it because I like control and to build my own shit, but probably a node package could run in it without too much work

I’ve probably have ran through six different raspis as a packaged node (umbrella, mynode, blitz, nix-bitcoin), and without… they all blew out for one reason or another

The fact that a apple silicon mac mini sells for 1000$ with a 1TB drive hinders a little the fact that they are absolute beasts that draw next to no power.

But was wondering what software(but you said no node package) and how you keep it connectable from your phone. I assume it’s not sitting in the same wifi network as your phone. Maybe I completely misunderstanding the context…
