Discoverability is the issue. It’s extreme hard to find people especially if you’re looking for people that talk about specific issues or matters. I have been on the platform for 18 months and I think I have found 4 goldbugs. And I found every one of them because the reposted each others stuff. Even if I go to someone page and look at the users they are following. I get inconsistent results.
Some clients will inject algos to solve this but idk I'm against it and I have no idea how to bypass it
I use nostr.band for search and it seems to be a lot better than any tool I found for the fediverse.
Yes, difficult to find signal, I do follow a bunch of bitcoiners, but my timeline seems slow. Let me know any new recommendations 🤙
Go down rabbit holes of people that have commented on this thread. Look at their profile posts and start following people they repost or make intelligent/funny comments. Keep adding 5-15 a day and you’ll have some signal.
