Loving the energy here over the last few weeks, with almost daily updates and improvements in the background, and a fun engaging community in the foreground. Also loving the asymmetry that allows plebs like me to converse meaningfully without being suppressed by the feudal algorithm (know they place, peasant pleb).

Then I remembered feeling this excitement briefly years back with Steemit.

Not sure if that's even still a thing, but there was early micropayment tipping for posts. The workflow had too much friction and I think the communities didn't bring anything like the energy of this bitcoin/lightning/libertarian/foss/value4value intersect. So I'm much more hopeful for nostr.
