Silent fans makes the ladys go "can you turn up that miner, I'm cold"

This is the way.

Yeah I might get one

3 actually!

Any preference?

I got the Phanteks (PH-F120T30_BG) T30-120. For the minor and the Noctua NF-A6x25 FLX, Premium Quiet Fan, 3-Pin (60mm, Brown) for the power supply. Sooooo much quieter. Running now at full (cause it’s fuuuucking cold) and still no louder than my regular heater.

you won't hear her yelling with this fan 🤣🤣🤣

btw: s9 looks 🔥

True 😂

awesome, and yeah def get some silent fans 🤙🏻

Yeah I will !

Holy shit that is loud, no wonder we call it mining 🤣

Hah it’s even more loud lmao

You run Braiins OS or default firmware? Braiins OS allows to downclock / lower power consumption (and hashrate too, obviously). Then can add some fan upgrades on top. Both things should reduce noise. Check out nostr:npub1lrjgpa9m2dl6esdah5pq7m005ymwh4glq4aet76q2zlz2f83esfsa2zvrj .

Braiins OS is great. For warmer days I set it to 600w. Just a little bit of heat and it’s almost silent.

Braiins OS

just followed Rick’s guide:

Power target 650W

Target temperature 89

Hot temperature 85

Dangerous temperature 90

Fan speed 55

Hash boards performance will vary. You can measure in real time efficiency gains or losses at +/- 100, 200, 300 etc W

Yeah I know. The more I lower the less TH/S I will get

I found that after lowering past a certain wattage the efficiency (measured in Watt/Th) stopped decreasing

I will report back after ASIC will tune

This is where I am at right now. Down clocking based on temperature of the room. Using it as a space heater.

nostr:npub1f5pre6wl6ad87vr4hr5wppqq30sh58m4p33mthnjreh03qadcajs7gwt3z set up as the heating element in his clothes tumble dryer

It's a an 83th miner though. Much more wattage than an s9.

She will need to yell….

“WHAT DID YOU SAY?”

Brains os 700 watts fan speed 35. Good space heater. I only use when fees are high or its cold AF

Them cyberhornets be loud!
