Ya know, I tried Fountain, but I just couldn't get into it. There were a few functional aspects that I just didn't understand, it was buggy, and I didn't really get the concept of paying sats every minute of listen time for podcasts that are free on literally every other platform. I understand maybe wanting to zap a bitcoin or nostr-related podcast, to support the community, but the whole ongoing sats for every minute you listen seems really crazy. You could easily end up spending $10 or more for every episode. And the fact that the payment scheme extends to all podcasts just doesn't make sense to me.

I very quickly went back to AntennaPod, which is a very actively developed, open source podcast app for Android that, IMO, is as good as they come. I still have Fountain installed so I can check in from time to time and see the progress, but it isn't anything I actually use.
