I think if you strip out the language he is using he at least on to an issue in our culture. Hes putting the cart (dual income) before the horse (inflation), but I dont think its good that every household is being forced into sending their kids off to day care/public education so both parents can work. I think in any society there will always be women working, but a paradox of egalitarian and rich societies is that gender roles stratify as it becomes more efficient or just more preferable for women to take care of the home while the man takes a job. There will always be outliers with women that enjoy working or are really great at making money, but the idea that every woman should be pushed into it runs counter to how society runs when times are good.
