Trying out a new cookies recipe and I’m sooo excited!! The dough needs to chill in the fridge for a few hours, and I seriously can’t wait to bake them 🤩🤩🤩 The kitchen already smells amazing! 😌

Well, I don’t think I like the look of it… it doesn’t spread well. The flavors aren’t very balanced either. It’s kind of cakey but also gooey — like a confused mix between a cake and a brownie. The smell, though — absolutely amazing. Credit to that brown butter!
Honestly, pretty disappointing after all the rave reviews I heard about this one. But life goes on. I’ll finish it all anyway.
