I recently asked six high-functioning 94+ yos what the secret was to living a long life.

3 said lead a good life/have a good relationship with God.

2 said hard work.

1 said bourbon.

I think the 6 of them together gave you the perfect ratio!

How were you blessed to be put in that situation?

I work on preventing celestial transfers for a living, but it’s really more of a curse 😆

sounds about right!

Bourbon guy was definitely the most honest 🤣

🤣 true

Ahhh but what kind of bourbon?

the kind that keeps you alive 98 years?

I’m only 2,100 years old and I’ve only been drinking bourbon for 32 years so take this with a grain of salt…but a good cask strength is my go too when I deserve a treat. For ‘living another 4 years without breaking my cold storage’: Buffalo Trace isn’t a bad way to go.

I like the Geroge Burns method. So many have done perfectly fine with the [black coffee, tobacco, liquor] routine and have such long lives while BEING HAPPY and not depriving themselves of the joys of life.
