I had two alcohol free beers last might (they have .5% alcohol), and I feel hungover.

Is anyone else this sensitive to alcohol or is there something wrong with me?

What?

Are you Korean? Maybe it's an allergy.

Yes I am Korean

Sorry, man. You're allergic to alcohol. It's a known ethnic situation.

😑

NAC helps to clear acetaldehyde from the body and l-theanine helps to block the negative effects on the body. Avoidance is probably best though.

It’s definitely a thing, body slow to break down ethanol , definitely avoid Gin

I used to exclusivly drink gin... maybe my body is just saying no

Did you have them late at night/close to bedtime?

Alcohol aside, it’s like eating a loaf of bread so might just mess you up from the simple starches

I definitely get a morning headache from just a couple drinks now. It was only a few years ago that I felt nearly invincible lol

I had a similar experience where I could drink and then suddenly I couldn't.

Interesting point about the simple starches though.. And yes I stayed up much later than usual.

Could definitely be all of that combined, especially if you’re not used to it!

Yes, tolerance goes down and sensitivity goes up. Try going without caffeine for seven days to washout and see.

Thanks for the tip. I usually drink zero caffeine and have had quite a lot while traveling. I'll give that a shot.

CANNOT DRINK UNLESS I HAVEN'T EATEN ALL DAY, MY STOMACH IS WEAK AF. MIGHT JUST START FAKING LIKE I'M DRINKING IN SOCIAL SITUATIONS LIKE DEAM MARTIN LOL

Interesting I'd imagine drinking on an empty stomach would make it more intense.

I've been totally off alcohol for about two years so I haven't had to deal with it. Best decision of my life tbh

I CAN'T REALLY DRINK REGARDLESS HAH. BUT GOOD JOB, ALCHOL IS A SHITCOIN

This is way more the contents of beer than alcohol or me. I don’t have this reaction to champagne and most wine or spirits.. beer just fucks me up. If I even sniff it I get a hangover.
